Silver jewelry is much cheaper than Golden jewelry. But cost is not necessarily a measure of worth. It is all a matter of taste. Gold, in my opinion manifests luxury and wealth. Silver on the other hand stands for creativity. And why creativity? This is because it is a challenge to create a work of art and flawless designs with materials that are cheaper and less exclusive. What I mean is that, it is much harder to impress with silver than it is with gold and diamond. No matter what the design is, diamonds and gold speak for themselves. With silver you have to prove creativity by special designs to match the inherent value of gold and diamond. Therefore, silver jewelry is by default more complex and elaborated the golden designs.
And lastly, there is the issue of skin color. In my opinion darker skins goes better with gold because of the color contrast gold creates on a dark skin. Bright skinned girls will look better with silver jewelry.
I like both gold and silver, but I prefer silver. It fits me better.
